Wheelchairs & strollers

The funicular is easily accessible for guests using wheelchairs or strollers.

Each Fløibanen departure can accommodate up to three wheelchairs or strollers, depending on the size and design of the wheelchair. By using the elevator, you can avoid the stairs and enter directly into the upper compartment.

Both Fløistuen shop & café and Fløirestauranten are wheelchair accessible. At the top station, you’ll also find a free accessible toilet and a changing table. The viewing platform is also fully accessible.

Fløyen offers wide, well-maintained paths that are suitable for both wheelchairs and strollers. There are also several hiking trails in the surrounding area. See our suggested routes here.
